For three days in June, 29 physics students from S3 - S5 embarked on an amazing trip to Geneva. The trip was centred around the fascinating work done at the Large Hadron Collider and various other particle accelerators at CERN, the biggest international particle physics laboratory in the world. Along with a captivating tour and talk from one of the lead particle physicists Aiden Robson, the group were able to see many of the amazing sights in Geneva such as the Jet d'Eau Fountain, Science Museum, Botanical Gardens and of course, Lake Geneva. It was an amazing three days and the glorious weather and sights can be seen from the short video below made by one of the senior pupils on the trip:
